Radical Faith
What it will cost you .
Have you ever given thought to your faith and what it will cost you to be radical . What is Radical Faith? Screaming and shouting and being bold and raising your arms in praise , singing and praising and Joyful. Yes maybe, that is a form of worship and a public sign of faith .
To be radical is to believe the impossible , to know that know matter what is going on in life, the world, family, friends, and all other aspects of life that we are held in the hands of Jesus and that we allow him to control the outcome of all things.
The cost--- Living out radical faith will not be a easy task.
You will have to become very small and humble yourself before so many things.
Faith is the substance of things not seen. A very hard concept to wrap the human mind around.
You will lose the right to defend yourself.
You will lose the right to do what ever you want to.
You will surrender to the fact that your life is not your own.
You will sacrifice your time, your money and your talents for the kingdom of God.
You will be committed to change, honesty, and wholeness, and your spirit will be convicted when you do not follow the will of God.
Radical Faith is belief that is followed by rigorous action, prayer, seeking the face of Jesus and loosing your self daily to the flesh and learning that things happen in the spiritual world that require obedience . We can't see this in the physical, we have to be able to hear the words come to life and life flows from the word that comes from the living well of life, the water that quenches all desires, and creates a contentment in the mind , body and soul that can never thirst again.
The bible tells us to stop thirsting after things of this world, Money, Greed, Lust, Envy, Pride , Anger, Sloth, Gossip. That we must turn away from things that produce Death. The bible explains that all who seek His Face will find him. Knock and the door will be answered.
God is not a respecter of persons- He loves all his children and he wants us all to be grafted into the family of believers . You think to your self - I am not qualified to work for the kingdom of God and I am not worthy of the sacrifice He paid at Calvary. OH yes you are, you where worth dying for says God. He loved you so much that he took your sin and was crucified so that you may find life in Him.
We do not need to wait to get to heaven to experience Heaven. Living a Radical faith and acting out the belief, will bring glimpses of heaven on earth. The Lords prayer, Teaches us that we can have peace on earth and love on earth and good will on earth , Paradise in every step you take and every sentence you speak. God has a plan for your life and it is to be content, joyful and free , free in him and free in spirit.
Radical faith will cost you your natural carnal way of doing and living and turn your thoughts over to purity and honesty, love and compassion for humanity . You will learn to let go of your worry and concern, you will become less interested in self and more interested in what you can do for others, your brothers and sisters.
Radical Faith is saying to that mountain in front of you MOVE and you know its going to move, you may not know when, but you Know its going to MOVE, because Jesus Said so, I believe it and I will wait for the moment that God makes it move, because of the Faith it is done. From Glory to Glory and from Faith to Faith, God will turn your unbelief into a belief that is beyond measure.
Radical Faith requires that you think less about worldly things, material things, and focus on biblical truths. Seeing that God is stripping your ways daily as you walk closer to Him
Faith is action, Radical Faith is belief in action that all things are possible, the impossible becomes possible and only explainable through Christ, it makes no human sense and its hard to comprehend, Believe it anyway.
Heavenly Father Let us Pray
God above take the mess and take the stress and worry of this life. Allow us to come to the center of the cross and lay it down, all down at your feet. Instill in us a radical faith that does not waver, that does not doubt, that does not require others to validate, penetrate our souls and show us through signs and wonders the works of only you . Let us ask and receive all that we ask, in healing, in finance, in careers, in friendship and in marriage. Lead us to the fountain of life and teach us to drink for its living springs. So that we may not thirst after things of this world but thirst after you and life. Thank you in advance for we know that when two or more come to agreement in you , we shall reap the seeds of our prayers. Teach us to sow fruitfully and teach us to be more and more like you and less and less like self.
Thank you Lord for Life and the radical faith that you give us when we ask.
